1. Overview

JobFit AI ("the Extension") is a browser extension that helps job seekers evaluate how well their resume matches a job listing. We are committed to protecting your privacy.

2. Data We Store Locally

The following data is stored only on your device using browser local storage and never sent to our servers:

• Your resume text
• Your optional Groq API key (BYOK)
• Daily usage count
• Cached analysis results
• Floating button position preference

3. Data Sent to AI Services

When you analyze a job, a cleaned version of your resume is sent for analysis. Before sending, we automatically remove:

• Email addresses
• Phone numbers
• URLs and profile links (LinkedIn, GitHub)

This anonymized resume text and the job description are sent to the Groq AI API for analysis. Please review Groq's Privacy Policy.

4. Data We Do NOT Collect

• We do not collect any personal information on our servers
• We do not track your browsing activity
• We do not sell or share your data with third parties
• We do not require account registration

5. Third-Party Services

The Extension uses Groq API for AI analysis. The API proxy is hosted on Cloudflare Workers. No personal data is stored on these services.
